We all genuinely wish CalzoneGolem the speediest of recoveries.
Now can we get back to our regularly scheduled oppo? Not trying to be an ass, cause I really think the outpouring of support is great but can we tone down the cacophony of posts to a faint roar maybe? its tough to find the well written content in a sea of get well-rods. Just a suggestion. feel free to disagree.

Just be happy it's a theme day that involves cars

Im not happy with theme days though, same problem. again, its not that I don't like the support, but i'd be pretty bugged if I worked hard on an article and it got immediately buried by theme posts of any type. Its fine though, I can deal.

As the inception of this thing I am not going to tell you you are wrong. I am usually the first to bitch about not keeping a theme day to one thread. Today I did not make that request and it took on a life of it's own. A big life on it's own. to tell you the truth I was pretty surprised I didn't see one of these requests earlier.

yeah, it was a great post you had and I feel for the guy, my best friend busted up his back and neck the day before he adopted their first child and so I've seen the difficulties and challenges of this type of recovery, not to mention to sheer luck that he WILL recover...I think its just time to get things back under control for the sake of people with interesting things to say and share today. It's not me, but someone out there probably has some great stuff to post.

A coping method is do your long articles in word or something similar and then save them out then post to kinja when the ruckus has died down. I do that sometimes.

I do too, but it just means that instead of having something interesting to read to distract my from work today, I have to wait until tomorrow.
